There has been four years passed of collecting materials and one year of complicating the Supplement 9 of ZooNotes. In this issue named “Fauna of Sarnena Sredna Gora Mts, Part 1” information for a total 941 species from the following animal groups was published: Cestoda (55 species), Annelida: Lumbricidae (21 species), Tardigrada (9 species), Mollusca (109 species), Decapoda (4 species), Protura (6 species), Mecoptera (4 species), Dermaptera (4 species), Diptera: Tabanidae (53 species), Plecoptera (9 species), Psocoptera (35 species), Coleoptera: Carabidae (175 species), Odonata (26 species), Lepidoptera (333 species) and Coleoptera: Cerambycidae (98 species). Some records were new to the Bulgarian fauna: Protura (5 species, one of them new to science), Mecoptera (1 species), Psocoptera (1 species), Lepidoptera (1 species). Also, many species were recorded for the first time in the area of Sarnena Gora Mts and our knowledge for the fauna of the region was considerably enriched.
